PM's CHIEF SCIENTIFIC ADVISER COOLS ON CLIMATE CHANGE

The Prime Minister's chief scientific adviser is reported in the Telegraph as saying that the massive increase in wealth among developing countries will lead to a huge increase in the demand for better food as well as all the other trappings of middle class westerners. I have no doubt he is right and this will stretch the world's resources as never before. It is interesting, though, to hear that the PM's scientific adviser is saying that climate change is not the greatest threat to man. It is but a small step, but the message may be getting through slowly.
