GIGO

Garbidge in garbidge out, as the saying goes. This piece looks at a recent paper that claimed there had been a massive drop in the ocean's planckton in the last 70 years, and of course this was attributed to global warming. The author was very sceptical of the claims, and recent information has proved that he was correct to be. The lesson here is that we should not be quick to accept way out claims. Scientists should remain sceptical until clear evidence is provided.
