I was having a discussion with a colleague on the claim made by some climate change alarmists that we are facing a mass extinction, so I looked through the blog to see if I could find anything and came across this article:
Biodiversity loss: How accurate are the numbers? - BBC News
It tells us just how nonsensical the claims of mass extinction are. And yet the climate alarmists are desperate to link climate change with this fictitious mass extinction in order to try and keep the public alarmed when the actual climate does not seem to be changing very much, or even at all.
So, yes there are some species whose numbers are in decline and there may be all sorts of reasons for that, though with the very small temperature rise of just over 1 degree Celsius, it is not likely to be climate change unless there are local reasons why a particular area has suffered a change.
Another scare debunked!
