Attributing a particular weather event to emissions of CO2 by a particular company is as ridiculous as reading tea leaves, and yet it is taken seriously by previously well-respected scientific institutions. Bodies that were once venerated have now adopted this nonsense to try to give it respectability, yet in doing so they have forfeited any respectability they once had. This nonsense lies at the heart of a wave of legal action being taken by bodies taken over by climate activists.
