This is for planned maintenance, but with UK refinery capacity at low levels to start with this is another blow to hit us on top of the general shortage of diesel fuel here. No one can say that fossil fuels are not essential to our way of life for the foreseeable future and yet the government here will not make a decision on whether to allow more drilling in the North Sea until after next week's bye election, as they are afraid of losing votes to the Green Party. It is all rather pathetic
