Surely no sensible government can be expecting wind turbines and solar panels to produce the vast amount of reliable cheap electricity that the world needs when they get to net zero. No, I think they have set 2050 as the target date to make sure it is out of their time in office and what they are relying on (or should I say hoping for) is for something to turn up. I know, it is a crazy way to go on, but can you think of a more plausible idea? One of the possible projects they are betting on is nuclear fusion. So how are things going.
